Imagine if... there were a premiere outdoor venue and farm-to-table destination on Atlanta's Southside
Sean Jones and Adam Jackson are building Hillside Farms Atlanta.
The two Georgia natives forged a lifelong bond as kids growing up on the Southside of Atlanta. Their common roots are a driving force in the impact that they hope to have on the community they call home and other young people coming up behind them.
Located in scenic Chatahoochee Hills, Hillside is on its way to becoming a center for activities that create memorable and positive experiences for its visitors and the surrounding community. The most immediate phase of their development plan is launching an impact garden on a dedicated parcel of the land. Sean, the owner of Hillside, says “the garden is managed by a local farmer who is charged with using the space to educate youth and to harvest crops that will be both sold and donated locally”.
There are also plans to host a range of events on the sprawling plot. Hillside has already welcomed private groups for horseback riding, fishing the lake and camping the grounds. But the vision is much greater than that. According to Adam, Hillside’s Managing Partner, “we want to be the premier destination for events in Atlanta. Our space is the ideal place for outdoor weddings, corporate retreats, and soon will be an attractive destination for getaway lodging”. The Human Capital Theory is supporting Hillside through the strategic development and implementation of their 50-acre land development plan.
Most important to Sean and Adam is to build their business in a way that keeps community investment at the forefront. Each suggests that their success in other professional ventures is a testament to the support and opportunities that they received growing up in Atlanta. Together, they are committed to making the Southside proud by building a best in class business that showcases all they have to offer.
